The problem:
A high volume sales claim program has been operating an approval process manually. This included an operator looking at the uploaded invoice, identifying over 15 fields to match the requirements of the program for the approval or denial of allocation of an incentive.
Xclamation solution:
With this problem we looked at both GCP and OpenAI’s visual tools. Using a combination of the technology we have created a tool whereby the invoice is sent via our AI application as an image, the tool then identifies and matches the program specific markers to the criteria and provides a match rate for approval. Where the invoice does not match the claim or requirements the AI application then provides a feedback reason to the operator to then return to the customers.
The result:
The reader is processing over 1000 claims per month with a 99.5% success rate on the requirements for an approval/denial outcome, this has effectively driven a 75% efficiency gain in the approval process and allows the product to be scaled across other programs.
